Sara Jean is a video/motion graphics artist living in Chicago. Her work is full of saturated colors, unique design, and surreal imagery. She is highly influenced by Avant-Garde movie posters, early silent films, Technicolor musicals, and everything German. Sara has held several titles including but not limited to; the co-curator of The Ice Capades Film/Video Series, co-founder of the Battle of The Cities Film Festival, freelance motion graphic designer on a wide variety of projects, and drummer for local Chicago psychedelic punk band Nones. She has traveled up and down the U.S. with her work and the work of her Chicago peers, screening in a wide variety of venues as both curator and video maker. She is currently working as a motion designer for The Oprah Winfrey Show at Harpo Studios.
